Antonia is a character in Lies of P.

Background

Antonia is the owner of Hotel Krat and an old friend of Geppetto’s. Allegedly, she knows a great deal of Krat’s hidden secrets. When the Puppet Frenzy began, Antonia opened the hotel to survivors to act as a refuge.

Gameplay

Antonia is found in the ball room in Hotel Krat. Players can speak with her to learn more about Krat. After speaking to her for the first time, she will give the player the Someone's Memory outfit and the Show Off Clothes gesture. Equip the outfit and use the gesture in front of Antonia. She will comment on how P looks just like Carlo and will reward a Vivid Ergo Fragment.

After defeating the Eldest of The Black Rabbit Brotherhood and returning to the hotel to speak with Geppetto, speak with Antonia. She will give the player the Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance Key which is used to unlock the door to Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance on the hotel's second floor.

After defeating Champion Victor and returning to the hotel, Polendina will tell the player that Antonia's condition from the Petrification Disease is getting worse and that she needs a cure. Speak with Giangio who will create A Cure for Antonia in exchange for Gold Coin Fruit. However, Giangio will warn that it will not fix the organ damage caused by the disease. Afterwards, give it to Polendina and choose to have him administer the cure or not. If the cure is administered, Antonia will become much happier and the disease will clear up on her face. If the player told Polendina not to administer the cure, he will respect the decision, though Antonia's dialogue will become more bleak.

After defeating the Corrupted Parade Master, return to the hotel to find it ransacked. Antonia will have been moved to the study upstairs with the other survivors. After everyone else leaves, she will tell the player of the secret passage behind her portrait in the ball room that leads to the Relic of Trismegistus Entrance.

After Laxasia The Complete is defeated, Antonia will pass away. If the cure was administered, the Cherry-Scented Letter will be left on her wheelchair. When read, the Memory Of Beach record and The Story of the Refined Old Lady achievement/trophy will be rewarded. If the cure was not administered, the letter will be absent.

• Antonia's name is a reference to the original novel's Master Antonio (Mastro Antonio), or Master Cherry (Mastro Ciliegia - because he has a red nose), a carpenter who found a wooden log that he planned to carve a table leg out of, before learning that it is capable of speaking. Master Antonio then gives the log to Geppetto. Additionaly, her surname Cerasani comes from the word Cerasa, another way of saying cherry in Italian.
