Champion Victor is a mandatory boss in Lies of P. He is located in the Grand Exhibition.

Description

Victor had once been praised for standing at the pinnacle of all living beings. When he recovered his dwindled strength, he swore absolute fealty to the Alchemists.

Champion Victor, also known as The Hercules of Krat, was a beloved wrestler recognized as the world's strongest man who possessed a steel-like will. He was a veteran warrior who performed in the circus at the appeasement of the citizens of Krat - and once defeated a lion and bear in combat. Long into his career, Victor suffered from a sudden incurable illness that proved lethal, devastating the people of Krat. His strength collapsed, driving him to pursue the aid of alchemists to preserve it. In spite of this agreement, news of Victor's death spread, causing the people of Krat to mourn their fallen champion. Little did they know the alchemists exposed Champion Victor's body with the Petrification Disease. After managing to overcome the Petrification Disease, Victor experienced enhanced strength, his body one step closer to immortality. The wrestler finally returned to the public, defying fate, to the celebration of his fans. In exchange, he swore absolute fealty to the Alchemists.

After joining the alchemists, Champion Victor embraced the philosophy of evolution of humanity, believing himself to be the peak of humanity's achievements. However, Victor was unsuccessful in achieving immortality and thus rejected by Simon Manus, who killed him after Victor failed to defeat Gepetto's Puppet.

Gameplay

Phase 1

Champion Victor begins his first phase with a charge attack. Dodge either direction to avoid the majority of his attacks, but left is recommended to avoid the range of his left hand, which initiates his first attack swing as well as his lethal grab. After dodging an attack, strike his back 1-2 times depending on your weapon of choice. Alternatively, you can perfect block his moves which consist of a (red) delayed knee kick, a foot stomp, a chase followed by a three-punch attack, a delayed heavy punch, a (red) delayed five-punch attack and a grab. Blocking these attacks, as well as consecutive damage, will build up his stagger status. When his healthbar glows white, use a heavy attack (or alternative methods such as shot put or legion arm/fable with stun ability) to trigger a stagger where you can deliver a fatal blow for added damage.

Phase 2

• Weakness: Fire

In this phase, Champion Victor's health with passively heal overtime.

Once again, Champion Victor begins with a charge attack. Additional moves include (all in which can be perfect blocked): A jump->ground punch attack, a charge right hand swipe, a double hand ground slam, a double foot stomp, a four hand swing flurry, a double left hook, a six hand swing flurry, and a 3-chain charge attack. As with phase 1, the majority of these moves can be circumvented by dodging towards the left. Champion Victor also lacks ranged attacks, making him susceptible to throwables.

Trivia

• His name is presumably a reference to the mad scientist from Frankenstein.
• It is implied that Victor was once a championship wrestler, including adopting the title the "Heart of Krat".
• He is voiced by Ed Dogliani.
