Clark Shore, better known as Dr. Cure-All is a character mentioned in Lies of P.

Background

Clark Shore was a member of the Alchemists. He regularly created snake oils that were believed to cure various diseases, leading to people dubbing him "Dr. Cure-All". Following the spread of the Petrification Disease throughout Krat, Shore stole records about the disease from the Alchemists. By following the manufacturing processes outlined in the records, Shore produced a "Miracle Cure" and found it to be effective at neutralizing the disease. He subsequently advertised his cure to the public and became rich overnight.

However, Shore was unaware that the "cure" was a concoction the Alchemists used to mutate those infected with the disease as part of their experiments to force humanity to evolve. By providing this cure to the public, Shore was singlehandedly responsible with transforming a large portion of Krat's population into Carcasses. This led Giuseppe Geppetto to start the Puppet Frenzy to kill of everyone infected with the Petrification Disease.

Shore eventually became infected with Petrification Disease himself. He felt extreme guilt for distributing his “cure”, and resolved to die a slow death from the disease as punishment.
