Medoro is a character mentioned in Lies of P.

Background

Medoro was a reporter for the Krat Times. He regularly contributed to the to issues of Venigni's Guide, providing insight of the various attractions around Krat. He was also good friends with Lorenzini Venigni himself as well as Sophia Monad and Alidoro.

At some point, Medoro was contacted by a former member of the Alchemists named Alidoro and spent months interviewing him to learn about the dark side of Krat. He was told that the Relic of Trismegistus below Krat was not just an Ergo mine. He learned that prolonged exposure to Ergo was the true cause of the Petrification Disease which by that point was rampaging throughout the city. He also discovered that the Alchemists were conducting experiments on Krat's population in an attempt to forcibly "evolve" humanity. This was largely done by administering the "Miracle Cure" to people which resulted in terrible mutations as a side effect of neutralizing the disease.

Medoro eventually released a special report to tease the public of his findings. However, before he could publish his findings, the Alchemists forced the newspaper to suspend him indefinitely. Additionally, they banned his report for allegedly spreading false information and unrest, effectively ruining Medoro's reputation. Following the Puppet Frenzy and the worsening of the Petrification Disease, Medoro fled to the Barren Swamp. Infected with the disease himself, he found the area contaminated but was helped by the Hermit who was suffering from mutations caused by the Miracle Cure. Eventually, Medoro succumbed to the Disease. In his final moments, Medoro thought about his friends and believed that someone would eventually uncover the truth.
