The P-Organ is a gameplay mechanic in Lies of P. Acting as Pinocchio's literal heart, it allows the player to enhance their abilities and equipment on a skill tree.
Overview[]
Upgrades are separated into different phases. In order to unlock a node and its skill, players must fill all of a node's slots with abilities. Slot abilities are purchased with Quartz and are immediately available after purchase. To unlock the next Phase of Nodes, players must unlock at least two Nodes in the previous Phase. Progress to the next Phase will also unlock the corresponding Tier of Slot Abilities. Despite this, players can slot any ability from any Tier once it become available. Phase 6 is unlocked by started New Game Plus while Phase 7 is unlocked by starting NG++. These additional phases also introduce Tier 6 and 7 Slot Abilities.
The P-Organ first becomes available after defeating the Scrapped Watchman in Krat City Hall and then speaking to Geppetto back at Hotel Krat. Afterwards, players can start purchasing abilities at the nearby red chair known as Geppetto's Tools.

Trivia[]
- The P-Organ can be seen in the start menu of the game. The background will change depending on the player's progress in the story.
- When Lying to various characters throughout the game, a message will appear notifying the player of a change in the P-Organ. As the player continues to lie and become more human, the message will change to reflect this (i.e. “Your springs are reacting…”, “You feel warmth…”, “Your heart is pounding…”).
