Puppet's Saber is a weapon featured in Lies of P.
Overview[]
It is acquired by selecting the Path of the Cricket: Balance Combat Style. Alternatively, another can be purchased from the Wandering Merchant by the Cerasani Alley Stargazer for 300 Ergo.
It consists of the Puppet's Saber Blade and Puppet's Saber Handle. As with other normal weapons, both the blade and the handle can be interchanged with other weapons by speaking with Eugénie at Hotel Krat or by interacting with a Stargazer.
Gameplay[]
The Puppet's Saber is a repurposed military saber, straddling the line between attack power and attack speed. Light standing attack consists of two sword swings, first diagonally upward right-to-left, and then horizontally left-to-right.
Heavy standing attacks are a more energetic, forceful version of the light attack. Charged Heavy Attack results in two diagonal underhand swings, right-to-left and back-to-back, while advancing towards the enemy.
Fable Arts[]
Storm Slash unleashes a flurry of blows directly in front of Pinocchio: two underhand slashes, right to left, glowing with blue Ergo power, followed by a red overhand slash in the opposite direction. It costs three Fable charges.
Concentrate arcs blue and red Ergo energy up and down Pinocchio's sword-arm, and passively boosts his Attack Power for a brief period of time. It costs one Fable charge.
Description[]
Blade[]
A saber blade made by refashioning a soldier puppet's weapon. The slightly bent blade has remarkable stability. They say puppets do not shed tears because they do not have souls for vessels. "If they had souls, they would have something to put tears and lies in."
Handle[]
A standard sword handle made at the Workshop. It has endured many battles, and the stains of blood and grease cannot be distinguished from one another. The red stain has faded to the point where the grease can't be distinguished from blood. The endless fighting was gone, leaving behind nothing but red upon the world.
