The storage devices that hide secrets using encryptions were popular among the Krat upper class. Naturally, the decoding devices targeting the rest of the population were also popular, but most have been destroyed.
Decryption[]
Take the Cryptic Vessel back to Venigni at Hotel Krat to decrypt it. It will show a picture of the closed gate in the Barren Swamp Bridge where the player meets Rookie Explorer Hugo. The gate will now be open, allowing the player to access Hermit's Cave. Follow the path to the end to eventually find a safe that rewards the player with a Quartz and the Black Cat's Hunting Apparel.
