The Slum Resident is a character in Lies of P. He can be found in the Path of the Pilgrim.

Gameplay

The Slum Resident can be found at the location depicted in the Old Cryptic Vessel Decryption. To reach this location, travel to the Path of the Pilgrim Stargazer and take the lift down.

Next, follow the path to find the shack in the photo on a hill and the Slum Resident. Speak to him to obtain the Robber's Shack Key. Use the key to enter the shack. If the player walks straight to the chest, they will fall through the floor, revealing it to be a trap. The Slum Resident will taunt the player and leave as enemies in the basement start attacking. He then promises to come back to collect the player's belongings but isn't seen again.

If the player walks around the trap and goes to the chest then the Slum Resident will be disappointed that he wont be getting paid for his trickery and leaves.

Trivia

• How he tricks Pinocchio into his trap is similar to Patches, a character from the Souls series that fools players to find treasure and trap them in either a cave or dungeon, Patches also acts as a punishment for players who get "too greedy".
