The recollection can be found at the beginning of the Path of the Pilgrim. After reaching a small village, the recollection can be found on top of a tombstone in a graveyard. After appraising the item with Pulcinella you can show it to the Malum district black market trader without having to use any ergo fragments to convince him to do business with you.

The smiling bunny is the well-known sign of the Stalkers. It is said to serve as a sort of pass in certain areas.
