Star Fragments are a material in Lies of P.
Overview[]
Using a Star Fragment in front of a boss door will summon a ghost known as a Specter upon entering the boss room. This is useful as the player will have a second person help them attack the boss. They are also useful for distracting the boss, enabling the player to attack without drawing agro.
Specter have their own health pools and will disappear when they are depleted or if the player dies. Another Star Fragment will need to be offered to make the Specter reappear after returning to the boss room. Star Fragments can be found throughout the world, as enemy drops, or can be purchased from vendors.

A meteorite fragment found in various parts of Krat. It can be used before the boss to summon a Ghost from Call of the Void.
Star shards cross dimensions to grant people's wishes.
If you wish desperately enough, the shards can summon someone who wants to save this world.
